Chief Minister flags off second tranche of 10,000 kits for corona warriors under ‘Corona Seva Yajna’ from Raj Bhavan in presence of Governor

Gandhinagar, Wednesday: In presence of Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani flagged of the second tranche of 10,000 kits for the frontline corona warriors from Raj Bhavan here today.


Speaking on the occasion, the Governor praised the important role of prominent citizens in the government’s war against coronavirus along with the social forces. He said that every citizen should join this war against ‘Corona Seva Yajna’, strictly follow Covid protocols there being no place for complacency. They should realise the pain and suffering of the victims as their own and extend assistance.


He felicitated Yuva Unstoppable founder Amitabh Shah and his associate donors for their cooperation in sending one lakh kits of ration and day-to-day goods to the corona warriors.


Chief Minister Vijay Rupani giving details of the multipronged attack on coronavirus. The Gujarat Government has resolved to use the people’s prowess for win with the mantra of ‘Harshe corona, jitshe Gujarat’. There is no place for fear but need alertness. There is no paucity of hospital beds, medicines, injections, oxygen and human and other resources.


He said that the government has taken up certain steps to break the chain of spread of coronavirus. He described ‘Corona Seva Yajna’ by the Governor as synonymous with sensitivity. He thanked Yuva Unstoppable founder Amitabh Shah and other donors in this Yajna.


The second tranche of the kits loaded in vans are destined for Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Himatnagar, Khedabrahma and Vadnagar.
